This presentation explores the connection between childhood experiences and neurodevelopment and the connection to adult criminal activity. We'll discuss how service providers in the legal system can best work with affected individuals. We'll explore how toxic stress affects executive functions and how through practical strategies we can help individuals with legal conditions be more active participants in working with their probation and parole officers.
